Raay and Marjetka live for the music and have dedicated their lives to the search of new sensations,
experiences, knowledge.
Married couple in private life and unstoppable power duo in their professional life has a very diverse
set of skills that covers everything from performing live, studio recording, audio production, video
production, A&R.
Marjetka is active as a singing coach/instructor and Raay as a producer, songwriter and artist
scout/manager. The duo has the inner drive to always give their 100 % and strive for improvement on
every level which is apparent in the success they had with airplay and high profile collaborations such
as this year’s Slovene Eurovison song for Tinkara Kovac and theme song for women's alpine superstar
Tina Maze who of course turned to Raay for her first singing project.
Some see Slovenia as too small unevolved market but Marjetka and Raay have turned that into their
advantage, as they can closely follow all the world's production and trends but are not bound by
industry to simply copy the styles, but are free to fuse all of the collected knowledge into their own
sound.
MARAAYA – LOVIN’ ME

Maraaya consist of Marjetka (singer/songwriter) & Raay
(producer/songwriter).
‘Lovin me’ is the first song released under ‘Maraaya’ brand and had an instant impact
in Italy were the song had good airplay and even reached Top 10 on their iTunes.
The duo now turned their attention to Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where the
single was released last week and will hopefully again quickly attract attention of the
public.
Marjetka started as a studio session
singer, where she had a chance to
work for different artists and
experience different music styles.
While also being a vocal coach to
youngsters teaching them modern
pop technique, she had developed
her own distinctive soulful vocal
style.
Raay, who is a succesful
producer/writer in his country, was
thrilled by uniqueness of
her interpretation and felt it's time to
put Marjetka in the spotlight. So the
duo »Maraaya« was born.
»Maraaya« are hard at work finishing
their first album. Good representation on what's to come is their first
single LOVIN' ME.
On one hand it could easily fit among current chart hits on the other hand
»Lovin' me«'s blend of styles with bold production approach, distinctive vocals and
